If ever there were a water which could be described as a sip of history, this is it. Our water originates from lower Tunbridge Wells sandstone just four kilometres west of the famous Chalybeate Spring. Both share the same aquifer and both are steeped in history. Convinced the spring water restored his health after drinking it when ill in 1606, Dudley, Lord North spread the word to royalty and nobility alike. Queen Henrietta visited to sample the spring in 1629 and large crowds soon followed. The geology of the famous springs and that of our borehole in Poke Hill, Tunbridge Wells are one and the same.
